The purpose of this post is to share with you some good resources where you can search for and access a wide range of pre-made Google Slides and PowerPoint templates. I have already reviewed each of these resources in separate posts in the past. Simply click on each title to access its corresponding review.
Using these resources will be enable you to create professional looking presentations without the need for prior graphic design knowledge. You will be able to access templates covering different topics from lesson planning to business and marketing. You can also use the integrated filters to search for specific templates by grade, subject, and license.
SlidesCarnival is a platform that provides access to a wide variety of free PowerPoint templates and Google Slides themes that you can easily edit and use in your own presentations. Templates cover various topics including education, technology, business, science, and more. The way SlidesCarnival works is simple: Find the template you like, add it to your powerPoint or Google Slides editor, then edit it the way you want.
You can search SlidesCarnival template library using the search box in the top right corner of the homepage. Type in your query and browse through the results. You can refine your search by colour, style, or tags. Use the upper bar to access the major tags: Formal, Inspirational, Creative, Simple, Startup, Elegant, Playful, and Business.
Slidesgo is another good platform that offers a wide variety of free Google Slides and PowerPoint templates. The way it works is simple: search the library, save the ones you like to your Google Slides or PowerPoint, open the saved version to customize and edit them the way you want.
Slidesgo templates are preloaded with a wide variety of graphic resources including editable icons, infographics, maps, and many more. Many of the Slidesgo templates are free but free users are required to keep the attribution links where they are in the templates.
SlidesMania is a platform that provides access to a wide variety of free editable PowerPoint and Google Slides templates. There are over 200 free templates classified into different categories including: Business, Education, Formal, Fun, Simple, Professional, By Edu for Edu, Popular and more.
SlidesMania made it super easy to use its templates in your Google Slides or PowerPoint presentations. The process is simple and here is how it works. First, browse through template collections, use the categories in the top bar or use the search functionality located in the top right corner.
When you find the template you are interested in click to open it. Go through the instructions and watch the accompanied video tutorial (not all templates have video tutorials, though). Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find the ‘Download PowerPoint’ button and ‘Open in Google Slides’ button.
Click on the one you want and follow the instructions. For instance, when you click on Open in Google Slides, you will be directed to the Slides version of the template. Make sure you click on the blue ‘Use Template’ button in top right corner to open the template in Google Slides editor where you can start the customization process.
